Mysuru, Jun 7: “Both father and son, have conspired to finish off the Congress,” said state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa here on Wednesday, June 6 in an obvious reference to Janata Dal (S) supremo, H D Deve Gowda and chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.
Speaking to reporters here, Yeddyurappa warned that the Congress would come off the worst in the coalition it had formed with the JD(S).
“There is absolutely no doubt about this. It is hard to say how long this coalition government will last,” he said.
Noting that the JD (S) and Congress had continued their alliance even for the Jayanagar poll and Council elections, he declared, “No matter what they do, we will do our best to win as we have lost by a very small margin in 20 constituencies,”
JD(S) and Congress ministers were sworn-in on Wednesday.
