J&K: Army foils infiltration bid along LoC, five militants killed

Srinagar, Jun 10(PTI): Five militants were killed on Sunday as the Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An infiltration bid has been eliminated along the LoC in Karen Sector (Kupwara district), a defence spokesman said here.

He said five militants attempting to infiltrate into this side of the LoC have been killed. The search operations were continuing in the area, the spokesman said.

    Sir, Geography of the land doesn't favor the mining of the area. There are International convention which forbids the nation to do so. Some rivers originate in Pakistan and criss cross to Indian territories.

    Secondly all the land which India claim is not actually India owns. Some ceded to China by Pakistan.
    Laying landmines are easy than clearing. Cambodia and Eritrea is one of the few countries are few example we need to learn the negative consequences.
    What India need is 'Dialogue' with its neighbour. Pellet Guns are not the choice of weapon.

    Ha ha Ha, yes. But there is some reality in this joke. If you look up at the comments on the article of 'surgical strikes' you will find only some community member questioned this.

    It takes a truly educated man not to take anything on face value, blindly especially when the information comes from a source that has a history of Jumla. Btw, Shri Aravind Kejriwal who demanded proof of the so called SS, is a highly educated man, neither a convert nor a Madrasa product.
