Kabul, Jun 10 (IANS): At least 13 police personnel were killed on Sunday when Taliban militants attacked a security checkpoint in Afghanistan's Kandahar province.

"The militants attacked the checkpoint in Nehgan area of Arghandab district," a security official told Xinhua news agency.
