Mangaluru, Jun 16: Due to the strike by workers, who are into collection of garbage in city, the garbage remains uncollected for the past three days.
The workers strike started on June 14.
As per some Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) reports, the workers have started collecting the garbage since Friday. But the garbage is seen everywhere in city.
Sources at Antony Waste Management Company, which has the contract to collect garbage, said that their company director is expected to arrive from Mumbai on June 16 and workers will hold talks with him.
Even if the workers start collecting now, the garbage of three days cannot be collected in a day. Rains have worsened the state of uncollected garbage in city.
