Mangaluru Jun 22: Sean and Lee Chang Jin along, General Manager and CEO of Laseroptek Company respectively, along with dermatologist Dr Ganesh Pai inaugurated 'PicoLO' machine at Hotel Taj Gateway on Friday, June 22.

PicoLO is the latest and state-of-the-art machine in laser technology. The machine is used at Dr Ganesh Pai’s clinic at The Trade Centre in city.

Dr Ganesh Pai is at the forefront in using laser PicoLO technology in India. PicoLO laser technology is the best so far in treating pigmentation, skin rejuvenation, moles, tattoos, freckles, wrinkles, acne etc effectively.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Ganesh Pai said, "I have been using this technology for a month and the result is very promising especially for tattoos. This is a picosecond laser. Till last year, most of the lasers belonged to nano second category. They were much slower than the picosecond. The picosecond is 100 times faster than the nano. And because of that, the tattoos absorb the laser energy very quickly to break down the tattoo particles from pebble size to sand size,”

“This is wonderful for tattoo removal and also black birth marks. Pigmentation also goes very quickly with only five sessions. This is new revolutionary technology. It does not remove pigment by heat, but by photo ecostic. This is a gift to the people of this district who have been struggling with this pigmentation, issues of birth marks and many tattoos on body,” he added.
