Beltangady: Drunk ‘child trafficker’ turns out to be father accompanying his own son!

Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (DC)

Beltangady, Jul 6: Locals here in Beltangady grew suspicious of child trafficking after a man was found with a child in Ujire in an inebriated state here on Thursday July 6. But later they learned that the man was with his own son.

Khalid, a resident of Belur, quarrelled with his wife and in a fit of rage took his son along with him in an inebriated state and arrived in Ujire on Thursday.

When he got down from the bus and hired an auto rickshaw, the locals grew suspicious of child trafficking and informed the police.

The cops took him to Beltangady station and when questioned, he revealed that it was his own child.

The police also contacted his wife and confirmed that it was his own child and was not involved in any theft.

When Nigeria's law against mob lynching can make a difference the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has complicated its passing in parliament?
More recently, after a spate of vigilantism in India, the country has pushed for an a new Protection from Lynching Act, referred to as MaSuKa. This would make lynching a specific, non-bailable offence, punishable by a maximum of life imprisonment and a fine of 5 lakh (USD$7770).

The MaSuKa also compels security officers to preemptively identify attacks and to intervene without delay. Failure to do so would result in discharge and punishment for dereliction of duty. When a lynching does happen, a charge must be laid within three months or a review committee will investigate, and the respective state must compensate the victim’s family.

It is time for United Nation Human Rights to send a legal notice to PM Modi government. PM Modi and his Home Ministry has failed to provide constitutional rights under Article 21.
Our PM Narendra Modi ji has all the time to congratulate Mexican president, condemn Afghanistan attacks, share a Madhubani artwork n congratulate ‘young team’ on social media day.But he hasn’t tweeted a single line on lynching or hate trolls. Is it Ignorance or intentional?

I would like to request the Human Rights Commision to file PIL in the Supreme Court for enactment of anti lynching law.

Highlighting how in the past one month alone, 28 lynchings have taken place, political support from BJP and the Sangh parivar has encouraged mob mentality and impunity in the country.

One cannot be definite about the reason of such killings, but one can be certainly definite that under the Narendra Modi government, this new phenomena is getting a definite political patronage. An unprecedented atmosphere of fear, fuelled with hearsay is being created, actively aided and abetted by the state to terrorise gullible people.
When the State gives the ‘license to kill’ with impunity and abdicates its solemn responsibility to uphold the rule of law”, it results in “vigilantism, death and merciless killings of innocent lives.
What is most distressing in case after case is that the ministers of BJP ruled states and its leaders have either been a cause of abetment or flagrantly justified this phenomenon.
Such political support has encouraged mob mentality and impunity in the country, Also such deliberate fuelling of rumours has created a situation where lynchings have become permissible.
It is high time the BJP government takes note of this widespread mob frenzy and lynching incidents. BJP would do better to take note of the anger which is engulfing the citizens of India against vigilantism by their own party men. Four years have passed, and we have seen enough platitudes, speeches and alibis, it is time for some corrective action.

1.Mob lynchings becoming the new normal in India?
    2. Why at this particular moment in history do members of one group consider members of another group as less than human?
    3. Why does PM Modi don' appeal to the nation in his 'Mann ki baat'?
    4. Why the Home Ministry of India is not sending the 'advisory' to the states?
    5. Why the government is not considering the 'Manuska law' anti-lynching law ?
    6. Why BJP is not expelling the MLA's who are providing legal and financial assistance to the crime?
7.Where are the Human rights organisations?

True. But what should be done is take the man to the police station with his son rather than thrash him in public. The police should have arrested all at the site - that's the only way public will be discouraged from taking matters into their own hands.

Law and order is now non existent in Mangalore. And the police have no control over these antisocial elements who often have political backing. Consenting adults cant hold hands in public because it is 'against our culture', but thrashing innocent people is okay, as nothing has been said about it in our culture.

In present situation carrying own child may also end up in lynching. Lawlessness is cause of all these happenings. No fear not even of God. Who can control this mob fury? Why people are so eager to punish others? No patience or no control? What could be the reason for such incidents? Time to ponder.

Dev Kumar. Tell me have u never lied in ur life? Have u not committed any sin? Dont your Religious book teaches u should not commit sin ? Yes right, but still we tend to commit it. The thousand lies we say daily, loot in our business by fooling customers all these get unnoticed irrespective of its a sin, but yet we do it. Only those sin like Alcohol, prostitution etc make headlines and to which we are busy questioning Religious book. Did Religious book ask Khalid here to consume Alcohol? Infact its asking Khalid, ummer, Ahmed, Dev, John etc to stop ging near sins.

So I kindly request you to think maturely and stop blaming Religious book for the act of free will human. Not to worry everyones deed will be accountable.

The day you.people learn...the messengers who came to earth are also belonged to hindu religion..or buddhism..or jainism or belonged to sikh religion or of christanity...or of shias...and respect those religions accordingly...than these land is going to be peaceful forever. Otherwise forget what written in.holy.book clearly mentioned against kafirs.
