Mangaluru, Jul 7: A motor bike rider, who behaved indecently with women going for walk, was summoned to the police station by Kadri police on Thursday July 5. He was let off after issuing a terse warning to him. The police also got a bond executed by him.

When two women were together going for walk on Bejai Battagudda road at around 9 pm on Thursday, a youth on a motor bike passing by that road had sought directions from them for Nanthoor. Within minutes he returned to them and sought telephone number of one of the women. When she refused, he asked her to get seated in the pillion of his bike so that he could drop her to her residence. The lady got angry and took the youth to task. By then, brothers of the woman reached there after coming to know about the incident, and led the offender to Kadri police station.

The police questioned the youth in the presence of the lady concerned. During his interrogation, the youth confessed that he behaved indecently as he was inebriated at the time. Then his parents were asked to visit the police station. The youth was thereafter made to execute a bond of good conduct and then let off with a warning about consequences he will face if he continues with this behaviour.
