Bantwal, Jul 8: Yashaswi, a differently-abled girl and an emerging chess champion, landed in England on Saturday, July 7 to represent India in chess competitions.
Yashaswi is second daughter of Thimmappa Moolya and Yashoda couple, residents of Kudumanau of Kedila village in the taluk of Bantwal. She is speech and hearing impaired. Excelling in chess she has ventured for an international competition with her team.
Yashaswi, who is trained in chess at Genius chess school, Puttur by the director of the school Satyaprakash Kote and his wife Ashakaveri, has proven to be a star to be reckoned with in the game of chess.
