Artistes Anand Bolar, Sadanand Shetty Paniyur Remembered

Mumbai, Oct 7: A meeting was organised by the Kala Sanghatakaru, Mumbai in association with Lakumi Team from Mangalore and Council of Kannadiga Artistes, Maharashtra to pay tributes and condole the untimely demise of the film actor and popular stage personality Anand Bolar and Yakshagana artiste Sadananda Shetty Paniyoor, recently. The programme was held at Samarasa auditorium of  Karnataka Sangha in Matunga here, on the evening of Monday October 6.

G T Acharya, Kolya Raju Shetty, Narayana Shetty Nandalike, Devdas Salian, Gangadhar Paniyoor, Padmanabha Sasihitlu, Muloor Sanjeeva Kanchan, Ramesh Shivpur and Vasanth V Amin of Lakumi Team  recollected the memorable events in the lives of these two refined artistes.



The meeting was held under the presidentship of Kannadiga Artistes Council Maharashtra  president S T  Vijayakumar Thingalaya. Lakumi Team Mangalore leader Ln Kishore D Shetty was present. Honorary chief secretary of the council Dayasagar Chowta welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Prakash Shetty Suratkal, Karnoor Mohan Rai, K K Shetty, Shimunje Parari, Omdas Kannangar etc., were present at the dias. They paid floral tributes to the portraits of the late artistes. Ashok Pakkala proposed vote of thanks.
