New Delhi, Jul 23 (IANS): Congress Presdient Rahul Gandhi on Monday said the latest lynching incident in Rajasthan's Alwar represents Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "brutal New India". The incident came to light on Saturday.

"Policemen in Alwar took three hours to get a dying Rakbar Khan, the victim of a lynch mob, to a hospital just six km away. Why? They took a tea-break en route. This is Modi's brutal 'New India," Gandhi said in a tweet, attaching a news report.

The 'New India,' the Congress chief alleged, is where "humanity is replaced with hatred and people are crushed and left to die."

Gandhi's remarks came soon after a news report claimed that the policemen, before taking the lynch victim to the hospital, stopped to take some refreshment.

    If lynching is the only solution then why do we need Modi government? Why do we need law and order. Let there be a jungle rule and let people fight with each other and get killed from each other. If government cannot control why blaming the public? First let the government take the Beef exporters to gallows. Why double standards. Shame less.     Modi has conveniently influenced people with Cow sentiments/Hindutva values.
    To win peoples confidents you have to explore new mantras. First of all sharpen your oratory qualities & the skills how to twist your tongue (to any extent). Possibly, Priyanka can emulate some qualities and with the tongue power she can win their heart & confidence. Give a try at least.

    What a solution. Cows are stolen in Dakshina Kannada and innocents are lynched in Rajasthan...……...As per your logic we should close down courts and send all the judges home. Also close down the police and law enforcement departments and form a union with Somalia. You can also have an exchange programme with the Lynch mobs in Somalia, to exchange new methods of mob lynching. Should we call it cultural exchange progammes. Maybe also set up mob lynching training institutes. Cannot think of a better reaction to your sick thoughts.

    No one... Where are state police?
    I think complaints are lodged... So where is enforcement of law?
    I did not see any media reports on even single thieves arrest...
    So let the gau rakshak team take charge of cows in Mangalore too...

    After each lynching incident we hear some second rung BJP leaders declaring that strict action will be taken against those responsible. A show is made of by arresting a few and in a couple of months these murderers are let out stating that there is no evidence. To add salt to the wounds of the victims they are garlanded and feted as heroes. The families of victims are harassed and false cases filed against them...……….. When all this is happening nothing comes from the PM's mouth. This is Modi's India. This is the true sab ka saath. Rightly said by Rahul Gandhi.
