Mumbai, Oct 10: The crucifix of Lord Jesus', located in front of Das Palace Hotel near Chakala Cigarette Factory in Andheri (East) here, is attracting huge crowds now. The crucifix, which is said to have been more than a century old, was re-made two years back, in modern style. This spot, which is famous with the name 'Chakala Cross, worshipped on a daily basis, has shot up to fame, after it was found that water has been trickling down the feet of the crucifix.

One of the devotees from the congregation that had gathered at the site to worship the idol on Thursday October 9, witnessed this miraculous phenomenon and informed others. Within minutes, devotees started thronging the place with vessels, bottles etc., to consume the water, feel purified and be graced by the divine power. By late evening, crowds had made it hard for the vehicles and pedestrians to move on this road.

The police forces have been trying to control the mob ever since. While many are trying to collect as much water as possible, others are engaged in paying obeisance to the crucifix in devotional frenzy. Local people as well as religious leaders have expressed their surprise over the miraculous happening. Newspaper reporters and television channels got busy with informing the curious people what has been going on at the Chakala Cross.

In the last week of June last, blood had oozed out of the heart portion of Jesus Christ's portrait located in St Michael's Church, Mahim in the city. Full details about the incident have not yet come out. Earlier to this, water in a part of the sea where a Darga is located in Mahim, had turned sweet for some time, which was also thought to be a miracle.

My Dear Beloved Brothers & Sisters In Jesus Christ,
As a Christian Believer in Jesus Christ, I want to tell to all my fellow Christians,
Do not believe in these miracles. IT IS NOT FROM GOD.
    1) GOD HATES idols,
The Word of God (The Bible) in the book of Deuteronomy5:8 God says
“You shall not make yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the waters bellow.
You shall not bow down to them for I am the Lord your God, am jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me”.
It means those who worship idols hate GOD they do not Obey GOD, They Bring Curses upon their generations. GOD does not allow His Glory to go to an idol.
So to whom does the worship goes to?
To whom do people bow down and To whom the sacrifices are offered?

    2) The Word of God (The Bible) says in the book of 1Corinthians 10:20
“No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to GOD and I do not want you to be participants with demons”.
Is God in the idol? Then whom does the sacrifice go to?
    Christians don’t worship Idols.

    3) The Word of God (The Bible) in the book of Mark13:21-23 Jesus say
“At that time if anyone says to you, Look here is the Christ! Or Look there he is! do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect ... if that were possible.
So be on your guard I have told you everything ahead of time”.

    Beloved Do Not Be Deceived.
If God wants to perform miracles, He may use you as a channel.
He will not perform miracles through a lifeless idols which He hates.
He is not in the IDOLS,
Jesus Christ is The True and Living God.
Jesus said I am The Way, The Truth and the Life.
Believe in Jesus Christ and be Saved.
In the Bible The Lord says in book of Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge ....

Read the Bible “You will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free”.
    God Bless You,
    Bro. Alex Dhanvate.

I am so excited that this miracle happened in a place where I was raised as a child. I have prayed rosaries there with my parents and siblings growing up. Jesus has shown us time and again that he is alive and around us everyday of our lives.

When Jesus was in the world he walked with the people, his heart was filled with love and compassion, performed many miracles to believe the 'truth' of one God, but people demanded more and more miracles. Even now also god is showing miracles, faith healings & wonders but people will be more and more suspecious.

Now the II era is going to end and it is the preparation of II coming of christ, before that God's word will be spread each & every flesh. In the coming days many more wonders & miracles will take place. God's spirit will pour on each & every flesh without cast & religion. Let us prepare for II coming of christ.

This event is the work of Jesus Christ. It happened at St. Michael's Church Mahim when blood oozed from the heart of Jesus. Crowds thronged to witness the event, but the church autorities decided to send the picture for forsenic tests. It reminds me when crowds thronged to meet Jesus, but his disciples drove them away. Then Jesus said " Let the children come to me"

I do agree with Mr. D'souza, MANGALORE, UAE. Religious leaders need to be proactive. Their in activeness and silence confuses many, including the non Christians. I do feel that they need more exposure and start thinking according to the signs of the times. May be they need to challenge themselves and come out one of those comfort zones, before it is too late.

This can not be a miracle. It appears that the condensed water from the structure is trickling down the feet.

I believe and trust that it is a miracle. But miracles do happen for a short period, and the event is not perenniel. Let us pray for such miracles in Khandamal, Karnataka so that the divine Power of Jesus as a Healer will be known to the unknown.

It could be the Moisture of the Statue that could result in the water falling from the Feet of Jesus Christ. I believe in Miracles but not in these kinds of Miracles. God Bless those who are filling their Cans, Bottles, Glasses of Water falling from the Feet of Jesus Christ. Hope they do not drink it and fall sick.

I appreciate belief of people on these miracles, this shows our faith. What worries me is the action of our religious leaders. Are they focused? Really well directed? What should we do in these situations? I think we should seal these places and only when it is proved there is no foul play around this we allow the congregation to get to these places. Very hard isn’t it?

This is really difficult with policing structure and political plays around though not difficult for religious leaders to give right statements and directions to congregation instead of a long silence. Our religious leaders are hardly seen in the media directing our own congregation and deliver right messages to all non-catholic people. People do not need leader’s wishes on a festival, instead they need to get right message across to clear misunderstanding. This would make our catholic life better when we live among our non-catholic neighbors. We should fill this hole before it back fires.
