NRC will be implemented across country after 2019 polls: BJP leader

Jaipur, Aug 12 (PTI): BJP national vice president Om Mathur said today that the country would not be allowed to become a 'dharamshala' and that National Register of Citizens (NRC) would be implemented throughout the country after the 2019 general election.

The entire country is suffering from the problem of Bangladeshi infiltrators. There is not a single city or town which is not suffering from the problem of Bangladeshi infiltrators, Mathur told reporters in Jhunjhunu district today.

"The country will not be allowed to become a dharamshala and NRC will be implemented across the country after 2019," he said.

The senior BJP leader targeted Congress president Rahul Gandhi, saying that he was not loyal to his family as the UPA government in its 10 years of rule could not muster courage to implement NRC, the initiative taken by former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.

NRC is not an initiative of the BJP and has been implemented in Assam on the directives of the Supreme Court, he added.

He asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would form the government after the 2019 general election and NRC would be implemented across the country.

    What BJP done is Assam is that they have identified and isolated the voters who would not vote for them.
    Now once again they come up with baskets of promises to lure the voters for 2019 like 2014.

    Earlier they decieved by promissing kala dhan wapsi, 15 lakhs into accounts, stern action against pakistan, sab ka saath sab ka vikas, achedin din, jobs and on and on..

    Let the world not become Dharamshala for we all Indians. Let the world throw all Indians back home especially these RSS and BJP supporters from US, Europe, Middle East and Asia, then these sick mind will truly realise what is actual Dharamshala.

    Unfortunately our own nation, having sought enough inspiration from Israel, is fast slipping in a fascist grip. If the sate endorsed lynching were baby steps, the exclusion of a large Muslim population from Assam NRC is one giant leap towards the annihilation of Indian Muslims.

    In 1937, Hitler led Nazi regime came up with the Madagascar Plan. This plan proposed the deportation of European Jews to the island of Madagascar where it was hoped that they would succumb to the harsh physical conditions. The plan was never executed due to various reasons. But it worked as a stepping stone towards The Final Solution, the genocide of Jews across Europe.

    What a pity it is to be striped of one’s nationality because of inability to produce documents to prove relationship to those whose names are present in the Legacy Data (copies of NRC, 1951 and the copies of Electoral Rolls up to 1971 are referred to as Legacy Data).

    With three northeastern states of Assam, Manipur and Tripura already landing in the BJP’s kitty, its immediate next target is Mamata Banerjee’s West Bengal, which also happens to be home to a large Muslim population, a la Assam.

    This is a heaven-sent opportunity for the BJP and its desperate leadership, months ahead of the all-important 2019 General Elections, to project itself as the sole defender and protector of ‘Akhand Bharat’ and majoritarian interests while portraying the opposition as political opportunists conniving with ‘infiltrators’ for a bunch of votes.
    Besides, this would help deflect the public attention from the ‘good times’ visible on every front – rising inflation and unemployment, farmers’ distress and runaway billionaire friends of the PM.

    The Supreme Court of India, which is guilty of exacerbating this mess with its unseemly haste should own the responsibility. Perhaps another bloodbath post independence.

    Is NRC will be the The Final Solution, the genocide of Muslims like Jews across Europe to establish Hindu Rashtra?

    Even you write pages after pages about NRC you can't blame BJP for this. The Apex Court of India under who's direction this has been done. Ppl like you who want blood bath in Modern India. Any person having a good sense won't blame Apex Court for this. This NRC was done as per the Assam Accord signed by ur own khangress govt and present day president of that party knows better as his father was the Head of Govt at that time
    Now coming to having friendship with Israel do you know how much progress they have made even though they r surrounded by enemies and having a desert. Don't go by sentiments even all Arab r trying to have a relation with modern Isreal

    NRC was introduced by Rajiv Gandhi in 1986 in the Assam accord. Even Indira Gandhi was against infiltration.
