Puttur, Aug 22: A complaint has been filed in the town police station here, alleging that a post in social website about former MLA from this constituency, Shakuntala Shetty, has been derogatory in nature.
It is said that a person named Lokesh K P, has made these remarks and that the post is so worded that it is likely to whip up communal harmony.
Block Congress general secretary, Amala Ramachandra, has filed this complaint.
The police have been verifying the complaint.
