Mangaluru: 'Sargam - Geeton ka Karwan' to enthrall music lovers on Sep 9

Mangaluru, Aug 23: Singing sensations from Mangaluru are all set to bring back the golden era of Bollywood music with ‘Sargam- Geeton Ka Karwan’ to be held on Sunday, September 9 at Town Hall.

Prominent singers of Mangaluru, Anitha, Srikanth Kamath, Ranjan Das, and Mohammad Haneef will bring back the captivating melodies of yesteryears singing stars like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, Mohammad Rafi and Hemanth Kumar through the musical show.

The artistes of ‘Sargam’ will take the audience into a delightful journey down the memory lane and make them relive the timeless masterpieces. A full-fledged live orchestra by talented and famous musicians will add charm to the show.

 

The same artistes had earlier won the hearts of music lovers in the district and GCC with their hit concerts ’Rafi-Kishore Nite' in 2010, 'Lata Ki Suneheri Yaadein' in 2011, ‘Yaadon Ki Baarat’ in 2012, ‘Geet Gaata Chal’ in 2013, ‘Tribute to Rajesh Khanna’ in 2014 , ‘Sargam’ in 2015, and ‘Tribute to legends’ in 2016.

Ideal Ice Cream Proprietor Mukund Kamath, Abdul Rauf Putthige of Vishwas Bawa Builders, Fortunate Serrao, head- Sales, Karnataka Agencies, Prakash Sherigar of Avinash Mosaic Industries will be the guests of honour.

The event will be compered by Prem Kumar.

The musical show aims to unite music lovers from all communities. There is no entry fee and people are invited to come in large numbers to witness a great evening.

    I been to the erlier shows in Town Hall. It was indeed a true musical treat. All the singers are tremendously talented and I am sure this time too they will enthrall the audience in a greater way..
