Bengaluru: BJP candidate loses Rs 2.87 crore cash stashed in friend's house

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 24: A realtor from the city, Anil Menasinakai, reportedly lost Rs 2.87 crore in cash. It is said that the money he had kept in a friend's house, has been found to have been stolen.

Anil had unsuccessfully contested the recent Assembly election from Gadag constituency on BJP ticket. H K Patil of Congress had defeated him.

The complaint of theft was filed by Saroja Prabhu, sister of V J Hariprasad, a friend of Menasinakai, in Rajajinagar police station. In her complaint, she confirmed that Menasinakai had handed over Rs 2.87 crore for the purpose of keeping it safely in her house, on April 19. She claimed that the amount was kept in an almirah. When Menasinakai came back after the Assembly election in May, she said, the almirah was opened but the money was found to have gone missing.

The complainant gave the names of suspects as her relative, Veena, and people known to her, Nagaraj, Manju and Babu. Saroja wants the police to question these four people. It is said that Veena had visited her twice during this period.

The police who took up investigation found that the almirah had not been forced open. Therefore they suspect this to be the handiwork of people who are well-known to the family. At the same time, they are surprised about the inordinate delay with which the said complaint has been filed.

When you say 'Bhakthas' implying Modi followers Salam, we all feel really proud accepting the compliment. Literal meaning of 'bhaktha' is a devotee & is said referring to devotees of Gods. Perhaps for the first time in the history of the world a PM or a leader is been given the status of a God & his followers being referred as 'bhakthas'. Unlike majority of the leaders cutting across party lines are referred by the number of zeros in the scams they were involved in, here's a person who tirelessly works 24/7/365, respected & recognized world over genuinely deserves this high position.
Salam, I guess you & many like you greatly enveying both Modi & his army of followers.

Now the friend of the chilli-pepper man (Mr Menasinakai) could easily move to Antigua. And live happily ever after.

Mr Menasinakai will need to find alternative ways to store future tax-evaded cash amounts. Buy gold and bury it in the Western Ghats.
