Doha: Mangalore Cricket Club Accords Warm Welcome to Gulf Voice Runner-up

Doha, Oct 19: Edward Roshan D’souza – 2nd runner up of the Gulf Voice of Mangalore was given a hearty welcome by the Executive Committee members of the Mangalore Cricket at the Doha International Airport on Saturday the 18th October 2008.

Sunitha Tellis the other finalist from Qatar was also welcomed by MCC. The President Mr. Alwyn D’souza congratulated Edward on behalf of the club, the cultural secretary Reena Castelino along with Ronald Fernandes, Lorna Pinto cheered him on behalf of the cultural team. Sunil D’silva the advisor, Jessie Mendonca the joint secretary along with Lilly D’souza, Deena D’souza, Eric Pinto, and Elroy Pinto were also present.



Edward is the cultural committee member of MCC and a very active member of the Konkani choir group in Doha. 

Edward will be formally honoured and felicitated and will also be performing during the ‘Mangalorean Day’, a family day of fun, games, food and cultural extravaganza, organized by MCC onOctober 31, 2008 at the Delhi Public School (DPS-MIS) premises from 3.00 p.m. onwards.

Mangalore Cricket Club takes this opportunity to wish Edward all the very best in his future and wishes that he excels in the field of Konkani Music.
