Mangaluru, Aug 24: Police here on Friday, August 24, arrested a man who was about to get married for the third time.

Ashok, from Jappinamogaru, is the arrested the person.

As per details available, Ashok had come from a gulf country few days before. He was about to marry a woman from Padubidri this Sunday. But the woman, who was engaged to marry him, complained to police saying Ashok had married other two women in the past.

Based on the complaint, the police arrested Ashok from his house at Jappinamogaru.

Ashok has revealed that he had married two women in the past, one being from Sri Lanka. He had even changed his name to Aspaq to marry a woman after being converted to Islam.

He had even secured a government job in the gulf country after marrying the second woman. But as he faced some trouble recently in that country, he decided to come back to India to marry a third woman. But the woman found out about him before he cheated her.

Wedding preparations were going on at Ashok’s house in Jappinamogaru.
