Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Aug 25: Kevin Stewart and Anuj Mascarenhas are talk in town for their assistance during rescue operations in Kodagu along with Garuda forces, army and police through their drone services.

‘Quad Perspective’, a drone service providing company from Mangaluru, co-founded by Anuj Mascarenhas and Kevin Stewart in association with ‘INDrone Aero Systems’ from Hubballi and Drone Aerospace from Bengaluru took active part in Kodagu rescue operations their using technology.

They assisted army to know the route, landslides and the people who got stuck in various parts of the hills and forests.

They used specialized units with emergency drop-kits and loud-speakers. The team was successful to give a clear picture of the entire Kodagu which was not possible to the army and rescue teams who arrived from other parts of the nation and the state.

Speaking to Daijiworld, the members of ‘Quad Perspective’ said, “It is our duty to respond in emergency situations. Drone technology is very much helpful when natural disasters happen. We are thankful to army personnel and rescue teams as they accepted our assistance. They are happy with our volunteer service. They received clear picture of water flowing areas and ways to enter the flood effected places with the help of our services. We are experienced in the field of mapping, agriculture, mining and inspections. This experience gave us courage to offer help in Kodagu rescue operation,”

The three drone companies deployed 7 systems each with three members at flood-hit Kodagu. The special monitors and high quality cameras were also used.

Congratulations dear Kevin and Anuj. May God Bless you n your entire team for great job done. Of Course our National Heros of Army, Navy , Air force & all other rescue teams - Hats off to you all too. Little jobs done by small organisations is getting wide range of publicity. But what our Armed Forces do goes un-noticed. Sad story of our nation.

Congrats gentlemen. We want to hear more of Mangalore for this type of brilliant humanitarian assistance as we are sick and tired of Mangalore being associated with communal intolerance and social disturbance.
