This is a rare case. Hope the law comes down heavily on the erring driver. However, I do not think that is expedient to arrest the accompanying girl in the car.

Whatever relationship they are in, they do not have the right to injure someone else... instead they could have gone speeding and jumped to the river... Now if both the girl and boy are rich, they will be left by these same police and the case will be closed... if some poor person was dead because of the negligence driving... god alone should save their family.... god knows when our police and politics will wake up and give rigorous punishment

We citizens know everything about such activities... Why police are not aware?? They are under the clutches of influencial people.. Even if police wants to take action, their hands are tied up...
If the car hit some ordinary person or a beggar nothing would have known to us.
