Mangaluru, Aug 30: Students of Mangalore University agitated after the management failed to take action against few youth who allegedly molested a fellow student here on August 30.

It is learnt that one of the students of the varsity was allegedly molested by some bike-borne men near the library.

Despite students complaining to the management, they alleged that no action was taken.

Hence, on Thursday the students of the varsity boycotted the classes and protested against the management.

They have also demanded that the Registrar must meet them and take action against the accused.

Frustrated and illiterate youths always wait for this opportunity to tease ladies and women.... Pl dont bring politics here...

Many readers opined that as if PM is responsible for this crime.... More over there is no security near library and no CC Camera available ??

Similar crimes had occured even when Congress is ruling our country.... who is ruling our state ? Why dont you refer CM or DC or SP our city for this ?

They are very close to the spot where incident occured than PM... Also see that whenever you spit about your head it falls on you face always... So... condemn this act and let Police/Management take action and punish them ... why bring Politics in women teasing.... Mangalore University is coming under State Govt and Education dept of the state NOT central govt.....

Bike borne youth near the Library ? Meaning, the area is withing the university premises, not the public area. Explain, the youth are students or some part of the institution. Why can't trace the bike number and catch the owner ?

When it comes to abuse of women, no partiality please...
