Mangaluru: Vehicle carrying cattle intercepted - case settled amicably

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Aug 31: In an incident which happened within the limits of Bajpe police station on Thursday August 30, a vehicle in which a cow was being transported was stopped at Kukkatte. The vehicle was then turned over to Bajpe police.

Some people, who stopped a pickup vehicle at Mogaru on Thursday afternoon, found that a cow was being taken in this vehicle. The information was thereafter conveyed to the police.

Thereafter, the person who had sold the cow, arrived at the police station, and confessed that he had decided to sell his cow as he found it very difficult to raise it.

Later, Jagadish Shenava, leader of Hindu organization, came to the police station and felt that the cow should be handed over to cattle shelter. The man who had sold the cow took the cow back home, duly assuring to return the money to the purchaser.

There is instant solution, If all the slaughter houses are sealed by Government notification. The other way is to frame new acts and rules,to auction or force takeover of those places by government, where cow is slaughtered. Assets of the slaughterers can be freezed. If few such instances of auction , assets freeze and impounding happens, then the act of slaughter can be controlled. Government may not do this because they want their own existence, not the cow.

    Dear All
Such agood act of Shenava to save cow by sending it to shelter. Hope he will save farmer from debt by payinh him for the cow.
I also would request Shenava to tie all stray cows in the shelter and save human lives as accidents happen with these cows on the road injuri g vehicle drivers and bike drivers. I can give one example of the cow on the highway at Ekkur . Japina Mogaru that grazes on the divider and suddenly comes on the road. Many bikes and cars hit this cow and many people are injured.
I request Mr. Shenava and his team of cow savers to kindly put this cow in the shelter to save humans as one day someone could die due to this cow.
It would be a noble cause for the holy cow nd lowly human lifes.

KMF every year giving targets for increasing milk production and subsidies and other facilities to tise cow's. Same way they must form a policy or facility to buy old or unproductive cows from farmes by giving them reasonable rates. So the farmers will be free from becoming target to these uncultured, unorganised, uneducated road roamio's. Even our ache din government can also form a policy to help Indian farmers.

Thinker, this is for your information :

    Quote
    Aug. 20, 2018
Chhattisgarh police have arrested a local BJP leader Harish Verma after more than 200 cattle death were reported from a cow shelter owned by him in 48 hours. Verma was arrested on Friday after it emerged that the death was caused by lack of care and fodder. The shelter, which Verma has been running for over seven years in Rajpur was overcrowded with more than 650 cows against the capacity of 220, and the animals were not taken care of properly.
    Unquote

I have not fabricated this, its available in social media you can independently search for it. Please tell me, how is Congress responsible for this.

A dairy farmer cannot take care of the cow till it dies. A cow may give birth 5 to 6 times and this is the prime to in which it can be used to sell milk and this is what gives bread and butter for the farmer. Once the cow gets aged (say 8 to 10 years) its milk yielding capacity reduces and the return on investment ( like fodder etc) will be negative to the farmer. So he can not continue to keep that cow just because it is "cow matha" . He has to sell it, which can also fetch some revenue for him. But no dairy farmer will buy a aged cow. So logically and unfortunately the only destination is a slaughter house and that is the reality.
Same thing applies to male calf . No farmer wants to keep a male calf beyond 6 months or one year after it is born because it is just not economical for the farmer. In this case also, unfortunately the only destination is a slaughter house and that is the reality.

Banned Beef export revenue increased. Foriegners eat Indian beef with delicacy. Fear in Indians to raise cow @ home. All are depending on packet milk. Those dairy product companies feed Indians with Chemically bound long life milk & powders,. Top brands like Nido, Anchor will dominate the market to make Indians helpless.

    Jagadish Shenava,

Please take the cow to your home and return the money to the actual purchaser.

You can't force people to keep cows if they can't raise it nor force them to hand it over to the cow shelter. Because it could be me purchasing the cow to raise it. Why deprive the original seller from his revenue ? Do the shelters pay the cow's owner ?

Why can't he force. When someone remove his aged parents from home are we not forcing them to not do that?. Will you take all those people to your home?. No na. Same applies here. This not Pakistan or UK. This is India. People have to live as per the Indian tradition or go where ever they want.

When a human abandons his mother, there is a law as per human court. You sow me which cow-law court functions to give verdict in matters as this news. If the cow is a mother, its for Shenava, not the seller. If she was, he would not have sold her but have kept her in his bedroom.
