Hubballi, Sept 1: “Time will tell if BJP will return to power in the state. People wanted us in power. But we missed the opportunity. We will come back to power when the people will bless us again,” said former minister and controversial mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy.
Speaking to the reporters at Hubballi Airport on Saturday, September 1, Reddy confirmed that he is still active in BJP and the party will come back to power if people are willing.
When asked to comment on coalition government completing 100 days, he said the duration is too short to judge the development. “I shall react after some more days,” he said.
BJP was earlier criticized by the opposition for maintaining ties with Janardhana Reddy.
Even though BJP national chief Amit Shah said that BJP has nothing to do with him, Reddy always maintained that he is part of the BJP.
