Mangaluru, Sep 3: BJP dominated in the ULB elections in the coastal belt winning most of the seats in Udupi, Kundapur, Saligrama and Puttur. In Udupi, BJP won 31 seats while 4 seats were won by the Congress.

Despite the district administration had restricting the parties from holding victory rallies, BJP went on to celebrate victory where scores of its supporters gathered near the counting center, chanting slogans in support of their leaders who defeated the Congress candidates.

On the other hand, only four seats were won by Congress. A video has been going viral on social media in which the BJP supporters are seen chanting slogans in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The candidates are seen celebrating when there was not a single Congress supporter seen to celebrate the victory of their Congress candidates.

Large number of people had gathered near T M Pai English Medium School in Udupi from 8 am waiting for the results. Since the result was not in favour of Congress, the party supporters left the premises.

One of the victorious Congress candidate with no supporters behind to celebrate her victory had to leave the premises in disappointment. The candidate was seen closing her ears with both hands to avoid further embarrassment as BJP supporters started to chant slogans loudly in favour of Modi.

No. They have some dignity. They born here, took education here, used country resources and now they want to use that for our country. Instead of working for others. May be they don't have job now but they will try and be part in developing home country than other country where we don't have any respect.

Madam Soumya, people need a certain level of literacy to move out of the country and make themselves attain financial stability. Otherwise nobody will accept them abroad. It is not as if they have stayed back to look after their parents, they are basically unqualified to go abroad and you are calling it hard work and deshbhakthi.

BJP supporters should behave well and learn to respect women. They don't live Indian culture but only give Bhashan on that. Congress supporters should not have abandon her alone. Even if you are defeated all, still stand there, that is the spirit.

This is the indicator that shows that congress supporters are all employed and working for their family and country.
Where as BJP supporters here are on hourly wage distributed through the earnings of Modi's petrol hike.

What modi will do for local body elections. Modi Bkakts still have no idea Karnataka is ruled by congress JDS. Total seats won by congress 998. JDS 400 BJP 910. So total seats won by congress JDs is more than 1400 seats.
