Mangaluru Sep 4: Hindu activist Chaitra Kundapur said that journalist Gauri Lankesh was a ‘supporter’ of self-proclaimed anti-nationalist students like Kanhaiya Kumar and Umar Khalid.

She was speaking at a protest march taken out by pro-Hindu organisations from Jyothi circle to DC’s office, here on Tuesday, September 4.

Members from Sri Rama Sene, Hindu Janajagrathi Samithi and other organisations took out the march against activists and thinkers who are demanding a ban on Sanathan Sanstha organisation and blaming the organisation for murders of thinkers and activists.

“We pay to temple's offertory more than the fees of Rs 11 at JNU University to pursue PHD. JNU University only produces traitors,” lashed out Chaitra Kundapur.

She blamed the special investigation team (SIT) for continuously targeting Hindu activists for the murder of Gauri Lankesh. “Such false allegations will unite us and make our strength grow. We are not corrupt as the officials of SIT. It is unfortunate that there are some activists and organisations which aim to destroy Hindus. These activists and thinkers use dead bodies as their weapons to make money and they did same during the murder of Dabolkar and Pansare,” she said.

"The specialty of SIT is to arrest the Hindu activists, then collect the evidence against them. SIT claimed that bike borne killers wore jackets and helmets, but they found only vermillion of accused inside the helmet, but not the accused. This is the specialty of SIT,” she said.

Coming down heavily on thinkers and activists who are demanding ban on Sanathan Sanstha she said, “When 24 Hindu activists were murdered, PFI organisation was involved, but they were not banned. SIMI organisation was banned because they were involved in terrorist activists, but the office bearers of PFI were earlier a part of SIMI organisation. Only the banner and name has been changed, but their agendas are the same.”

Hindu activist Guruprasad said, "When Gauri Lankesh was murdered, Rahul Gandhi tweets that Hindu activists are involved in this murder. SIT does investigation as per the statement of Rahul Gandhi in order to prove him right. Several Hindu activists were arrested prior to the claimed arrest dates by SIT. Where these activists were kept? Hindu activists are targeted and made to forcibly agree to the crime by continuously torturing them.

"When 24 Hindu activists were murdered, no SIT investigation was done and the murder of Hindu activists was completely ignored. We demand the release of Hindu activists who were arrested in Gauri Lankesh murder,” Guruprasad said.
