Mangaluru, Sep 6: In an incident which happened at Moonlight Bar at Thokkottu Olapete near here late night on Wednesday September 5, BJP workers thrashed Congress workers.
In this incident, George (51), and Mohandas (42) from Krishnanagara were injured.
It is said that BJP workers expressed their ire at the one at the receiving end of this attack, for seeking votes for Congress candidate in the urban local body elections held recently. In this ward, Congress candidate, Chitra Chandrakanth, had become victorious.
The attackers have been named by the victims of the attack as BJP workers, Kavith, Arun, and Suni.
Ullal police, who arrived at the spot, registered a case against the accused.
