Mumbai, Oct 29: The annual cultural programme hosted by The Mangalorean Welfare Association, Vidyvihar was held at Zaveriben Popatlal auditorium at Ghatkopar (E) on Tuesday October 28 afternoon.
The programme was presided over by Association president Lawrence D'Souza Kamani while Mumbai Women Congress president Janet L D'Souza was the chief guest on the occasion. She felicitated the talented students and wished them best for their future. Lawrence D'Souza of Blue Star Elevators, Mandd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario graced the occasion as guest of honour.
Association president Lawrence D'Souza Kamani presented the report highlighting the beginning of the Association, its achievement all along these years etc. Executive committee member Leo Fernandes Jerimeri welcome the gathering while immediate past president of the Association Stanley Saldanha introduced the guests. Treasurer Robert Quadros. Administrative committee members Everest Fernandes, Jessie Fernandes, Gracy Joseph and others were also present on the dais.
Later renowned Mandd Sobhann troupe under the baton of Eric Ozario presented scintillating 'Baila Dhoom' show which had the Mumbaikars asking for more. 'Khoroz' group led by Nellu Permannur once again proved that they are able to captivate the audience with their rib-tickling skits. Naach Sobhann as usual was at its best dishing out a memorable performance.
