Mangalore: 17-year-old Boy has Fatal Fall Down Apartment Drainage Passage

Mangalore, Nov 2: A boy died after he fell down a drainage pipeline passage located on the top of an apartment complex on Arya Samaj road, on Sunday November 2.
The deceased has been identified as Rohit Suvarna (17), who was visiting a friend living in the complex. Hailing from Coorg, he was a pre-university student in a reputed city college and resided with relatives near Ideal Coaching Classes in Kodialbail.
Rohit and his friend had climbed to the top of the apartment complex accompanied by his friend to take photographs. He fell down the drainage passage after the cement sheet on which he was standing to take the pictures, broke.
Rohit succumbed to injuries on the spot and had to be removed from the drainage passage with the help of fire fighters. Kadri station police have registered a case.
Some time ago, a boy died in a similar manner near the BSNL head office in Pandeshwar when he was trying to catch pigeons.
