Mangalore: DCIB Police Arrest Six Engaged in Flesh Trade

Mangalore, Nov 12: The District Crime Investigation Bureau (DCIB) police arrested six people involved with the flesh trade on Tuesday November 11.
The arrested have been identified as Pradeep (23), resident of N R Pur, Ramya (19), resident of Magadi-Kaimara in Chikmagalur Taluk, Kuber (28), resident of Kulai, Shabnam Khan alias Payal (30), resident of Hyderabad, Sandeep (29), resident of Malleshwaram in Bangalore, and Rani Khan (27), resident of Old Delhi.
Acting on a sure tip-off, the DCIB raided a lodge in the city with the help of policewomen and made the arrests. They also seized five mobile phones, photo albums, and Rs 3.11 lac in cash from the six. DCIB inspector Venkatesh Prasanna headed this operation.
