Mangaluru: Malaika Group launches its own new 'Yasoma 65’ LED TV brand

Mangaluru, Nov 1: The prestigious Malaika Group launched its own Yasoma LED TV in Mangaluru at its annual customer meet event held at Milagres Hall here on Wednesday, October 31.

Unveiling the new product Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, parish priest, Bondel Church, said "It is a very proud moment to all of us that Malaika is launching its own electronic brand. In Mumbai and Mangaluru, Malaika is known for its home appliances, consumer goods and dress materials. It is not easy to expand the business simultaneously in many places,"

Welcoming the guests and customers, Gilbert Baptist, chairman and managing director of the group explained about the beginning and steady growth of Malaika Group which operates through its own Malaika Multi-State Co-Op Credit Society Ltd and has 23 outlets in two states of Maharashtra and Karnataka including cities like Mumbai, Thane and Mangaluru.

“I am happy to see you all gathered as our guests. Only from the failures, we can learn the tactics of victory. Today we have grown and gained a reputation in the business world. This has happened only because of the support of our beloved customers and well-wishers. So with gratitude and respect, I want to say thank you all. You, I mean the satisfied customers of our company, are our biggest achievement," said Gilbert.

Stany Alvares, president, Rachana and Rons Bantwal, Mumbai based journalist were the chief guests. Hilary Cutinha, the first customer of Malaika showroom, Mangaluru was felicitated by the dignitaries.

G Baptist distributed the prizes to the winners of spot games. Nigel Pinto, CEO, Malaika, and Reena, regional manager of Malaika were present.
