Margao, Nov 20: Sidhanath Buyao, son of Goem Shahir Ulhas Buyao, will release his debut audio album in a function to be held at Panaji on Wednesday November 26.
The album will be released by Srinivas Dempo, chairman, Dempo Group of Companies. Manohar Parrikar, leader of opposition, will also grace the function. The first album by Sidhanath consists of 10 numbers with eight of these in Konkani and two in Marathi.
A unique feature of the album is the ‘ghazal’ in Konkani. Sidhanath’s album has lyrics by famous writers and poets like the late Manohar Rai Sardesai, Prakash Padgaokar, Ramdas Prabhu, Dr Bhikaji Ghanekar ,Gajanan Raikar, Gaurish Verrnekar, and Goem Shahir Ulhas Buyao.
Famous singer Nephie Rod also features in this album alongside Sidhanath. The entire composition and arrangement of music has been done by Sidhanath at Buyao Theatres Goem—Fatorda.
