Time for patience over: RSS chief on construction of Ram temple

Ayodhya, Nov 26 (PTI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said the time for patience was over and a law should be brought to facilitate the construction of a Ram temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh if the matter was not a priority for the Supreme Court.

Speaking at a rally organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) on the Ram temple issue in Ayodhya, Mohan Bhagwat also said this should be the "decisive phase of the agitation".

"One year ago, I myself had said be patient. Now, I say patience will not work. Now we need to mobilise people. Now we should demand a law," he said.

"If, for whatever reasons, because the court has a busy schedule or maybe it does not understand the sensibilities of the society, the Ram temple case is not a priority for them, then the government should think how to bring a law for the construction of the temple....the law should be introduced at the earliest," Bhagwat added.

"Now this should be the decisive phase of this agitation," he said.

The RSS chief said in 1992, those agitating for the temple at Ayodhya had approached then Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, but he did not take a prompt decision.

"(Then) the karsevaks (volunteers) got angry and what happened, happened," he said, referring to the demolition of the Babri mosque on December 6, 1992.

Asserting that the Ram Janmabhoomi was a matter of faith which could not be questioned, Bhagwat said, "The society does not move only by the words of law, but also by its own wishes."

"In 2010, the court (Allahabad High Court) had ruled in favour of the construction of the Ram temple, but now, indications are clear that it is not a priority of the (top) court," he added.

The Supreme Court, hearing appeals against the high court's decision, had said earlier this month that it would hear the matter only in January, 2019.

Mohan Bhagwat also said people should not fight with the government, but build pressure on it.

The government, if not willing to build the temple, would bow down before such pressure, or if it wanted to build it but could not find a way, would gain "strength from the public pressure", he added.

The Indian constitution was adopted on November 26, 1949 and hence November 26 is celebrated as Constitution Day. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is considered to be the Father of the Indian Constitution.
On the constitution day of India Rashtriya Swayaamsevak Sangh loses patience which sided with the 'British Raj'.
Before it is the contempt of the Supreme Court by its Party President Amit Shah in Sabarimala, now an open challenge to the constitution.
This is a reason 'Iron Man' Sardar Patel wanted to dissolve RSS and took the written undertaking to safeguard the constitution of India.
The RSS Guruji's who admired 'Hitler' and 'Mussolini' now wanted the same in India.

First of all RSS chief is going against the Supreme Court and secondary instigating Hindu radicals to take the law into their own hands. He is clearly demonstrating his religious terrorism as well as anti social, anti government and anti minorities policy.
He has to have patience and wait for the Supreme Court verdict and clearly understand that temple construction is not a job of the government.

First prove that there was Ram Mandir on that very site on which Babri masjid was built. Anyway you have demolished Babri masjid now. Now let the experts from ASI come with modern methods and techniques and investigate the existence of ancient Ram temple on that vey site!?!?!?!?!?........Otherwise be ready for the compensation legally through court for defamation, emotional stress and rebuild the mosque at the very site.

Indian’s must be aware that RSS, VHP, Sivsena, Ram sena etc. are the elements who are trying to control popularity elected government with their own ideology and not to run the country on secular norms. If third party is allowed to interfere that means the ruling party/government is weak or a puppet government. Public should bring a change by all means.
Religion, faith, belief keep for self & fly and not on a National level.

These statements by the RSS and BJP leaders are signs of nervousness and desperation of the impending adverse results across India in State and General Elections to be held this year and next year. The RSS Chief is indirectly telling the people and the Govt to ignore the Supreme Court similar to what the BJP Pesident Amit Shah had to tell the Supreme Court in the Sabarimala Judgement that the Supreme Court better issue orders that can be obeyed or else they will disobeyed.

First respect SC order and also the law of the land.
If RSS tries to take the law in their hands its going to be a disaster. Never try to ignite civil war. It's a critical jucture and both the parties need to maintain balance and ensure peace in the country. Do not expect Army to take over !
