Karkala, Dec 1: The lifeless body of a recently married woman was found lying in a well at Palayi Bakyaru in Durg village here on Friday November 30 under mysterious circumstances. The deceased has been identified as Savitha Lobo (27).

Savitha Lobo was from Bilayur Nadumane in Bantwal taluk. Her marriage was performed at Christ King church here on December 28, 2017 with Francis Cardoza from Palayi Bakyar in Durg village.

Francis, who is employed in a foreign country, had left for his place of work within a few days after his marriage. Therefore, Savitha Lobo used to live in the house of her in-laws in the company of her mother-in-law.

Savitha, who used to attend to agricultural work, had left her home at 2 pm on Friday for tethering a cow belonging to the family in the family farm nearby. A little later, her body was found floating inside a well located inside the family farm.

Savitha's parents have   expressed suspicion about the mysterious circumstances under which their daughter's body was found from well. They have filed complaint in rural police station here.

Tahasildar of the taluk, Muhammed Isaac, conducted inquest. The body was taken to KMC Hospital Manipal for forensic tests and postmortem.

The personnel of rural police station here, who have registered a case, have begun investigation.

They have to introduce marriage preparation course in all places. Now specially the boy will come to native place for few days and he will search a girl and marry within one month leave. The parents will search the girl but they will not explain the girl..... what is marriage. The girl will think that marriage means hall , band, church and go to husbands house. Parents will think that everything will be alright once marriage is over. I know even some parents will not tell their girls that what is periods. some children will study themselves though their friends or media. Firstly train the parents how to bring up their children and face all the situation.

This mother in law and daughter in law issues are really complex in most of the cases.

Daughter in law thinks she has let her home and has come to a strange place. She might think she is not given due respect or she is a servant there. She might see fault in mother in law's actions.

Mother in law thinks since she is old and she is loosing the power of the house and not treated well. She expects daughter in law to look after her. She will get hurt from daughter in law's action.

The husband or son is in between sometimes try to reconcile this difference but might fail miserably. Many a times both his mother and wife will blame him as if he is the main reason for the issue. Sometime he will take one side and play safe.

Considering all this it is better the husband goes to wife's house and settle, so that there is no fight. Like the system in " Aliya santhan". No one will blame anyone. His mother is taken care by her daughter and son in law. He takes care of his mother in law. He there is only son and no daughter then problem still exist.

First of all there can be many angles to the case maybe the one who performed the crime did it in such a way that the suspicion is on the in laws... nobody can be blamed at this moment when only the outline is known to find one who is guilty investigation has to be done and the police will have to dig deep however my major concern is justice for Savitha !!

This is a strange event in the life and history of Savitha Lobo.

The parents are right in suspecting foul play because of the mysterious circumstances under which their daughter's body was found from well.

Hope The Police will find the clues and and determine the actual cause of The Mysterious Death.

    FIRST R.I.P. TO SISTER LOBO
NOTE TO ALL THOSE WHO WORKING ABROAD.
IF YOU CANNOT TAKE YOUR WIFE WITH YOU WHY MARRIAGE FOR YOU?
IF AT ALL YOU WANT TO MARRY BUILD YOUR OWN SHELTER AND KEEP HER THERE..
OR KEEP HER IN HER MATERNAL HOUSE.
A GIRL LEAVES EVERYTHING, INCLUDING HER OWN PARENTS AND BROTHERS SISTERS AND ENTERS HUSBANDS HOUSE, AND MANY ARE SUFFERING IN THE HANDS OF MOTHER IN LAWS,BECAUSE THEIR INLAWS TORTURED THEM, THEY TOO ARE DOING,AND THIS WILL CONTINUE...
I AM IN KUWAIT FOR MANY YEARS, I AM SEEING DAILY IFROM MY OWN EYES MARRIED PEOPLE LIVING IN RELATIONSHIP AND DOING ROMANCE WITH OTHERS KNOWING THAT HE IS MARRIED!!!
I CANNOT IMMAGINE HOW ONE CAN SLEEP WITH SOMEBODYS HUSBAND/WIFE,AFTER PROMISING GOD ON THE WEDDING DAY..I DONT THINK GOD WILL TOLERATE THIS, IF AT ALL HE TOLERATES HOW FAR? THATSWHY WE ARE SUFFERING, TODAY I HAVE ANSWER. LONG BACK I WAS QUESTIONING GOD, IF YOU ARE COMPASSIONATE AND LOVING GOD WHY ALL THIS SUFFERING IN THE WORLD? BUT TODAY I KNOW THE ANSWER..

Tooo rude comment!! You might be too rich to understand coman peoples problems related to family status in abroad OR your very near family girl not married because she cant go abroad.
If one stay together in abroad also they may not be free from relation with outsider, many cases already happend. If a girl or boy failed to stay within the boundres of family life means their parents not raised them with good culture or rituals. Anyway married life is based on faith, trust, adjustments and respect . If you cant follow them no matter you stay with whom, where and why... Problem will come. Married one or thwo decades back were mostly used to stay away from their husband are they died or divorced?? Sooo many divorces are happening these days, is that because girls stay away from husband??

    @commana man /sub hash
Any young girl never suggest her husband to go abroad. It is man for the greed of money leave his wife and go abroad.
You may ask any girl what do u want after marriage?money or husband?
She will definitely say she want only husband.
My father had 8 children he had opportunity to go abroad but he didn’t and took care of all 8 children by working in India.
I am not against for going abroad
Try to understand the feelings of young woman
If at all u want to go abroad stay with her for a year or so and then go abroad
It is not advisable to go abroad immediately after marriage.
Some people have access to go vacation only after 2 years. Till then just imagine.

Well, that time there were no much demands and dreams of luxourious life at your or my parents time, thats what i refered as decades before in my previous comment. But present do any parent of girl or girl want to marry a boy who is staying in India and leading a average lifestyle with parents.. ?? If you have such girl there might be hundred boys ready to marry her. You may put your argument but this is the reality atleast in practice in udupi and mangalore area. So many catholic boys strugling for proposals and marriage. No one says couples need to stay away, do girls ready to marry and lead a simple life as in olden days???

A body floating within a few hours itself is suspicious statement, she might have died before her body was put into well is most likely cause unless she had jumped into the well the previous night itself.
When her husband is not with her it would have been better for her to live in her native place rather than put up with in laws, who most of the time look them as outsider than belonging to their own family.

Your comment is highly appreciated Dev. Yes well thought. Even I too feel what you said is right.
But, I want to say something here that when a young married woman stays in her native place, with her parents in the absence of her husband, relatives of that husband or many a times her own in laws fill unwanted matters in the ears of husband when he works abroad and this lead too much misunderstanding and crack in the lives of married couple.
Both the ways girl is not safe dear.. Best solution after marriage couple should stay together which solve many problems. If can't don't marry.

You are 100% right Cynthia, but I just gave a better(safer) solution as I have seen some in laws do the same even when their daughter in law stays with them & sour their relationship.
Best solution is married couple should stay together as you mentioned, as the very purpose of marriage is unity of 2 people as 1.

What might be the cause and solution for parents ending up in old age homes? What might be the cause and solution for divorces happening even though couplss together in abroad? What might be solution for boys who are poor, staying with parents, cant afford a luxory life as girls wish??
Every boys are not rich as you think, and rich mangaloreans dont help poor peoples.
What might be the cause and solution for christian girls running away with somebody of other caste?? What might be cause and solution for extra merital affairs eventhough couples stay together!!!?????
" faith, trust, respect and adjustment" cant follow no solution for any problem.
