Shimla, Dec 2 (IANS): The hills of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday shone bright on a sunny but chilly day, a weather official said here.
"It was a bright, sunny day across the state, but temperatures remained below the freezing point in many places," the Met Department official told IANS here.
Keylong, headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, was the coldest in the state with a minimum of minus 3.6 degrees Celsius.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of minus 0.4 degrees, while the temperature was minus 0.6 degree in Manali, 8.6 degrees in Dharamsala and 5.8 degrees in Dalhousie.
The state capital saw the minimum temperature at 5.4 degrees Celsius.
The Met office said the weather would remain dry till Tuesday.
