A deathnote is found on the spot of the crime and it is mentioned that they are committing suicide for personal reasons. All the three have signed the deathnote. R R Nagar police have registered a case against Govindprakash for murder and attempt to suicide as per the complaint given by Subraya Bhat, husband of deceased Mookambika.

On the night of Friday, Govindprakash gave the Insulin overdoes to his mother and sister and then tried to kill himself by injecting the same to self. When Subraya Bhat went to the room of his daughter, the incident has come to light. Subraya Bhat is a native of Kedila village in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district. He is a retired teacher and lives in Ideal Homes near Munivekataiah Memorial Open Auditorium of R R Nagar since 2002. His wife Mookambika is a housewife and daughter Shyamala was a lawyer by profession. The accused son of Subraya Bhat, Govindprakash is a diabetologist.

Mental depression is the cause

Govindprakash was running a private clinic at Hampinagar of Vijaynagar in the city. In addition, he used to work in shifts in two prestigious private hospitals of the city. However, two months ago he had closed the clinic and brought all the equipments to his house. From that time, Govindprakash was at home only. He was under treatment for severe headache since ten years.

Shyamala, sister of Govindprakash got married in 1994 and was divorced within two years. So she was residing in her parents' home and working as a lawyer. A few months ago preparations were going on for her second marriage but somehow the alliance got broken at the last minute. Mookambika, mother of Govindprakash was also getting treated for severe headache. It is said that Mookambika was depressed as her son Govindprakash also did not get married and life of her daughter Shyamala was also disturbed.

Attempted to kill self twice

Mookambika, Shyamala and Govindprakash, who were suffering from ill health as well as mental depression, tried to kill themselves on two occasions in the last three years. This information was obtained by the police during the primary investigation.

What a sad decision they took.Being a diabetes specialist ,looks like he self has not taken care for self. And killing mother and sister ?Lord forgive him.Rich have problems which poor dont have.A educated girl lived with parents ,specially single, brings more headache in the family than living self outside. No wonder he didnt get any girls.Their problems certainly could solve easier from them self.May their souls rest in peace.Hope he will recover from his suecide attempt.hope he will not attempt again.

Looks like they are rich. But there was no peace because of sickness. He himself is a doctor cannot find healing.
There is only one great healer of healer doctor of doctors his name is God. Trust in him you will have everlasting peace.
Olden times there were clinics very far away. Hospitals also in cities. Therefore people had trust only with God! And there was curing.
But now a days we have clinics and hospitals near the door step so we first go to human healer and if nothing works out there we run after God!!

If health doesn't give you peace, means you are not healthy either physically or mentally or both. And moreover you can't generalize using one incident.
