Panaji, Dec 4 (TOI): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the government of being full of shameless people with double standards.
It has called out MGP leader and PWD Ramkrishna Dhavalikar for displaying such shamelessness by visiting Portugal — a country whose Goan-origin Prime Minister Antonio Costa was insulted by Dhavalikar during a visit to the former’s ancestral place in the state, in January 2017.
AAP convenor Elvis Gomes said it is natural for anyone to appreciate and applaud a son or daughter of the soil who excels in any field in another state or foreign land.
However, Dhavalikar had sought to give it a communal twist during Costa’s visit, for narrow political gains, the AAP member said, adding the same minister was now on a visit to Portugal to study water supply systems.
“Whether he has gone to study water supply systems or treatment systems, AAP says it is the admittance of failure to supply water properly for the last 15 years,” an AAP statement said.
