Mumbai: St Xavier’s High School Andheri hosts K/P East ward Level Science Exhibition

Mumbai, Dec 13: A K/P East ward level science exhibition took place on December 6, 7 and 8 at St Xavier’s High School, Poonam Nagar, Andheri (E).

79 schools with over 230 projects took part in the Science exhibition. Students displayed their skills and talents and showed their keen inclination toward the subject. Senior project, Junior Project, Population (JR and SR), Adult Education, Teaching Aids (BEd and DEd) and Lab attendant, Organic Farming, Resource Management, waste management were some of the categories under which the students displayed their projects.

A Science flag was unfurled on the opening day by eminent guest present that included Sonal Pinto - director Ryan International Group of Institutions, Dr Prashant Kharkar- professor and head Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Mukta Dabholkar, member Maharashtra Andhshradha Nirmulan Samiti. Child Artist Saloni Daini and Akshat Singh were also present to boost the morale of the young scientist.



The programme started with the welcoming of the guests through band and Lezim.

Teachers and students from different school displayed their projects according to the layout framed. The exhibition was judged on two days by judges from the field of science.

The closing ceremony of the exhibition took place on December 8 afternoon. Anil Sable – education inspector, west zone Bruhanmumbai was chief guest of the function. The projects were judged and the winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates in each category.
