CPI-M removes Karnataka leader for misconduct


New Delhi, Dec 20 (IANS): The CPI-M on Thursday said it had removed G.V. Sreerama Reddy, Secretary of the Karnataka State Committee, from all elected positions on charges of "serious misconduct".

The Communist Party of India-Marxist said in a statement it had selected U. Basavaraj as the new Secretary of the Karnataka unit.
