Mangalore, Dec 18: The musical concert ‘Norbert Show’ will be held at St Agnes Special School ground, Bendore, on Saturday December 20 at 6.30 pm.
The programme is being organized by ‘Mithr’ Konkani weekly to mark the cmpletion of its 55 years of service.
The concert of Doha-based singer and musician Norbert Pereira, Roshan D’Souza, Konkani music director, and other talented singers, will be held to encourage Konkani music and literature, said Lloyd Rego, editor, ‘Mitr’, speaking at the press conference on Thursday December 18.
Apart from them, Richard Lewis will entertain the audience with his humour, he said. Sr Jyothi, Bethany Institutions, Eric Ozario, Vishwa Konkani Kalaratna, and Ronald Colaco, social worker, will be felicitated for their lifetime achievements, on the occasion said Rego.
The authorized website of the weekly, www.mangaloremithr.com will be officially launched along with the Mithr Bahrain Special’ issue. The programme is open to all, said Rego.
Ronald Fernandes and Andrew D’Cunha, director, Sangati Media, and Stanley Bantwal were present at the press conference.
