I came to know today that Gururkripa Oil Mills, Ashok Nagar Mangalore also supplies Chikki packs to government through women and child welfare department as our home got supplies from government as one of the family member was pregnant.
The government move is excellence and is a surprise for me. For the first time I am noting that lot of initiative is taken coming down to citizens home in spite of the fact that the home members are not below poverty line. Other items like eggs, Milk powder, toor dal etc are also given as per the scheme. It is understood that certain amount is being planned to give as cash for mother and child care.
But, the quality of the chikki ( made from Pea nuts and Jaggery) needs lot of improvement and it appears that there is no standards specified by the government for manufacturing the same.
I wish you take up this matter as the quality of items supplies shall be very good to there women and the procurement of the government is normally felt is due to some corruption in it. Their number given in the packet is 9845457413
The previous consignment supplied from government was having sand power in chikki. But not from this supplier. It thus appear that quality is ignored by the officers with ulterior motives.

Udupi and D. K, never require mid day meal / or Anna bhagya schemes. At present majority of mid class and backward economically poor families can manage themselves by their income if they are not single /old aged / handicapped or suffering from diseases. This is a typical picture of misusing public fund. If investigation done continously again a lot of rodents could caught.
Government must help poor, who must be genuine, if you wanna see a fruit of Anna bhagya, fake beneficiaries sell food grains to restaurant people for KICK BHAGYA.
