BJP offering Rs 25 to 30 crores to buy Congress leaders, alleges Siddaramaiah

Daijiworld Media Network – Mysuru(DC)

Mysuru, Dec 30: Former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah has accused the BJP of offering Rs 25 to 30 crores to poach Congress leaders.

Speaking to reporters, Siddaramaiah on Sunday said that the BJP was playing backdoor politics and was attempting to buy Congress leaders. "BJP is involved in horse trade. They are offering Rs 30 to 40 crores. We do not know from where they are arranging money to buy our MLAs. Isn't it corruption?” he asked.

"How BJP can come to power with 104 MLAs in hand? Only when they prove their majority they can form government. But BJP will not be successful in its attempt to lure our MLAs," he said.

His remarks come in the backdrop of opposition leaders waiting to destabilize the present coalition government and after some of the Congress leaders expressed displeasure openly, a day after cabinet expansion.

The 'operation Kamala' is one of the biggest corruption in our democratic system. It is impossible to clean corruption unless strong 'anti-defection law' is introduced through citizens demand by the Supreme Court.

    Rita,

India is not ready for a western type democracy yet ....we need a setup like East India Company....and Viceroy like Jossey Sir to rule us with a firm hand but corruption free....so he can do what is right, without unduly influenced about how to win next elections...

Election ( winning) is mother of all corruption in India...

Actually there is no truth is this. Fact is Siddu is a failed politician who is now frustrated that he let power slip out of hands by making CONgress in state 78 seats from 123 seats & handing over CM ship to his ex party Chief DG & Sons on a plate.
This is only deflection tactics now by invoking BJP
