Udupi, Jan 2: Vishwesha Theertha Sripada of Pejawar Math has expressed anxiety after hearing the shocking news that seven fishermen from Malpe who had gone for deep sea fishing on their boat ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ have been missing since 18 days.

Swamiji said that he came to know about it only on Tuesday, January 1. “The news of missing boat might have been published in newspapers. But I did not see it. Nobody told me about it. Therefore, I could not do anything about it,” he said in a video statement.

“I will take up all the possible work for the protection of fishermen and for finding the boat. I will urge the government to try and find the boat soon. We are with the fishermen. We share their grief,” assured the seer.

“I will speak to fishermen leaders during my visit to Udupi to decide further action,” he said.

Pejawar Swamiji was away from city when he gave the statement.

Swamiji let's pray for the safety of those Fisher men. Politics has no place in religious life. Best is serve 100% to god in a full devotions. I know you are a living holy saint who's prayers are more powerful than a common man. Let's pray all together for those fisher men to return home soon.
