Sitharaman reviews progress of National War Memorial


New Delhi, Jan 10 (IANS): Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday reviewed the progress of the National War Memorial (NWM) in the national capital, which will be the first memorial to honour all martyrs since Independence, nearly 26,000.

Defence spokesperson posted pictures of Sitharaman with Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC) at the under-construction memorial in Twitter.

"Progress is being closely monitored ever since the work began," it said.
