Youth Parliamentary System for the College Students would be an helpful means of educating our young men and women and mold them well to become fully acquainted with the democratic pattern of life. India is known for being the largest democracy of the world. India is also known as a nation focused on Educational enhancement in order to enable the nation to exist and co-exist with all the future challenges of the world.

I distinctly remember, that during our High School time in the year of 1955 we had an effective program of Parliamentary Education at St. Aloysius College. Late Fr. Rony Noronha Prabhu was our beloved Prime Minister, and late Dr. Bhasker Rao was our Opposition Leader. Late Rev. Fr. James Coelho was our Headmaster. We learned a great deal thru this program during our High School studies.

Even in the Toastmasters movement, we have an effective program that enables us to conduct the Debates on various topics where the Parliamentary system is becoming increasingly important.

Parliamentary methods teach us to share our ideas with others by creating a dialog for exchange of ideas and discussions.

Thank you, Sr. Jeswina for your timely dedication towards the Parliament Festival at St. Agnes College. This is an active means of educating the young students to be creative and productive in addition to their regular studies.
