Sullia: Disgruntled MLAs will preempt collapse of government - Sriramulu

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Feb 3: BJP leader and former minister, B Sriramulu, said that BJP is not making any effort to attract JD(S) and Congress MLAs into it, but that the legislators of these two parties have disintegrated into splinter groups which have been fighting with each other. "The time has come for these legislators to walk out of their parties. They themselves will cause the government to crash," he analysed.

He was speaking to media persons during his visit to Kukke Subramanya temple in the taluk on Saturday February 2. He said that leaders of other parties are making false allegations against the BJP out of fear of losing power. "The chief minister, who is overwhelmed by the number of unhappy legislators, has already offered to step down. The government is protecting its MLA, Ganesh. As has been its wont, the government is continuing to shield people accused in criminal cases," he stated.

Sriramulu, who arrived at Subramanya on Friday night, took bath in River Kumaradhara in the morning and arrived at the temple. After offering several services to the presiding deity, he had afternoon food there. He said that he has prayed to Lord Subramanya to see that BJP rises to power in the state, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, should be showered with His blessings for the success in Lok Sabha election.

Suggalamma temple, situated near the Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh border, was demolished on September 3, 2006. A week before the demolition, 18 sanyasis and mantrikas from Kerala and Tamil Nadu had arranged elaborate pujas for the powerful goddess.

Animals were sacrificed and offered to goddess Suggalamma. The sanyasis reportedly transferred the powers of Suggalamma to another idol and gave strict instructions to the Reddys to demolish the 200 years old temple within a particular time period.

Curse of goddess cost the Reddy brothers. The 'empire' of Janardhan Reddy, 44, arrested by the CBI for illegal mining and corruption, is crumbling like a Telugu film set. Reddy began the OMC sometime around 2001-2002 when he was not yet a minister. He has since acquired a reputation as India’s most feared mining don, which is in serious contrast to his mostly anonymous work as tourism minister.
The Reddy wealth is mind-blowing. In just 2009-2010, the Reddys' illegal export empire generated revenue of Rs 4,635.86 crore as per the Lokayukta report, with no major investment or labor on their part.
This Telugu Reddy's after destroying 200 years temple, now seeking blessings of Kukke Subramanya temple. Still talking politics in front of God to destroy Karnataka instead of devotion.
