The attack had taken place on September 14 in 2008 at Milagres in city.

Subsequently Mahendra Kumar had called a press conference and defended the attack on Adoration Monastery. He had said that the attack was against religious conversation and not against Christians. He had hailed the contribution of Christians in social service. He had said he did not have any intention to disturb the social harmony that existed between Christians and Hindus.

Judge Mahesh B T from JMFC second court had held the trial. Around 12 witnesses had testified in the case,. Rajesh Kumar Amtady from P P Hegde Associates had argued for the accused.

Other cases related to church attacks were disposed earlier.

Shankar: Your last line " You will garland Judas too if he joins congress" proves how blind you are and what a Bhaktard you can be.. Christianity is about Forgiveness.. We love our neighbors as we love ourselves.. We believe in forgiveness and that everyone has a place in the kingdom of god if he asks for forgiveness..

Mahendra whether he apologized or no, and if he did Apologize was it from his heart is between him and god.. He can hide from you, me, the law and all people; but not from God..

So dont worry about Judas.. You dont know what happened to Judas after he betrayed christ.. go google it and you will know the truth... he was forgiven by Christ even before he actually betrayed him.... So yes, we will garland Judas or for that matter anyone who turns to the truth... Wake up Bhaktard, I still have hopes for you..

I read LAW OF CONSERVATION OF ENERY. .In physics. It's always true and applies to super natural power. It's niether created nor destroyed. They destroyed holy sacrament, statues etc. Divine power is above these physical matter. I request all faithful brothers and sisters not to show any emotions over mischievous people. .
They didn't knew what they done. Let's all forgive them all and pray for them for a single minute.
Jesus was risen , victory proved then. What else we want more than that ? Isn't it ?

As someone commented here...….karma will follow.
I condemn this attack on a religious place of worship, that too on the nuns, attacking nuns and breaking things would not bring this idiot and his BD goons laurels, however spoil the name of our own Hindu Dharma.

I know these acts happens due to the involvement of a party and its sangha parivars,
Christians and especially catholics are known to be peace loving and they are not involved in conversions, yes there are sects within Christianity spreading what they call word of god,
this is a democratic country, those who want to embrace a particular dharma, let them, why not???
let people decide what they want, which path they wish to follow...…...all paths/dharma will only lead to one para brahman, called differently by different religions.

India gave refuge/sanctuary to many dharmas and Christianity is one of them , the contribution of Christians is the greatest among the other communities- Education, Health, nation building etc...

Catholics are one of the best communities that embrace values of other religions and many of them participate I Hindu rituals/celebrations.

This BD idiot should have been jailed as the prima facie evidence is available including self confession made by him, I don't know what judge was looking for, this only leads to mistrust and apathy towards our justice system, as culprits are let loose, and that encourages many more of such incidences. I am sure among Catholics there ae eminent lawyers who could take this case onto higher courts and I am sure justice will be served

If anyone getting converted to any religion its own his/her own will. At the most if the person getting converted is not bread winner then the bread-provider can interfere to ask what makes him/her to get converted.

It is purely on each one's conscience the conversion to believe in true God takes place. The political party gets intervened for their own benefit. I dont think in any religion God will bless for such attacks

According to him attack was against religion conversion not against Christians.. It's fine..
To discuss about conversion or matters related to such issues, there were religious leaders to discuss and solve it. This is not the way to attack blessed sacrament, break the statues, destroy the churches...
Actually, we Roman Catholics never go to house to house, city to city with brochures, pamphlets, hand bills and holy books and start preaching. There are so many other groups have come up in Christianity who indulge in such things.

They even come to houses of Roman Catholics to convert us into their groups though we all call ourselves as Christians. For no reason, our holy places got attacked. He apologized long back. Let's forgive him

It took ten years for our justice system to find that this man is an innocent in the attack that destroyed many people.
Well, not to worry. There is a impartial judge above all, who will deliver the justice in His own time. It is good that if this incident had turned this man to be a better human being than what he was.

Many of such gang members are destroyed their political carrier or died who support ed this attack. For Mahindra still has time to accept the truth and ask for forgiveness from the church authorities which will help you to have inner peace otherwise you will always be sad regardless of how wealthy or smart you are.

You have destroyed cross man not a wooden sticks. U know the meaning of cross. Court will never understand what crime you have committed on Christian's. I am very pained to see the damaged cross.

    Valerian,
Mahendra Kumar was not a petty Bajarang dal member. He was the district convener. He was the one who used to brainwash innocent Hindu youth and he was not brainwashed as he claims.
He has not apologized till now, he had just said that it was wrong and was carried out on behest of others.
My worry is that people like you give him a clean chit just because he quit BD and joined JDS which supports Congress now. You will garland Judas too if he joins Congress!!!!

Christian's please pray for this man. Court orders and politics has not helped Christian's in India on religious attacks repeatedly created by gangs and terrorists. It is shame of those harrass us but happy to eat in our plates, study in our schools, use our hospitals, old age homes, orphanage homes, homeless shelters and the list goes on.

If Christian's were targeted for conversion then it was a fake stories created by these idiots But we have not converted anyone but people appreciated the services provided by Christian's towards non Christian's consistently without bias. We are proud to be a believer of christ and all these attacks on us by terrorist makes no make us fear the devils.

Good Hindus in India always supported Christians and appreciated our noble work. Thank god we are peaceful people and never fight back or revenge. Shame on you cowards. I still have the picture of the cross damaged by you in Milagrese church saved from daiji website I fee very pained looking at this damage ed cross by you and your gang.
