Bengaluru, Feb 7: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday caught a 27-year-old college lecturer when he was allegedly receiving a package containing 16 grams of ecstasy.

Methamphetamine (MDMA), a psychotropic substance is popularly known as ecstasy. The lecturer had concealed the drug in notebooks.

NCB officials made the arrest following a tip-off.

They are yet to reveal the name of the accused.

The package, valued at around Rs 60,000, was dispatched from Mumbai.
