BJP threatens to expose video of HDK demanding Rs 25 crore for MLC seat

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Feb 9: BJP has threatened to use its own weapon against CM Kumaraswamy after the chief minister released a video of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa indulging in Operation Kamala in state politics.

BJP leader Arvind Limbavali speaking to reporters near residence of B S Yeddyurappa said that chief minister has made false allegations against BJP in the name of Operation Kamala. “But we will release a video of Kumaraswamy demanding Rs 25 crores for the post of MLC in the past,” he said.

“BJP state president B S Yeddyuappa will speak in the house and release the video on Monday. The video will be handed over to speaker Ramesh Kumar with a request to watch it in his room. The chief minister will be allowed to watch the video himself and answer,” said Arvind Limbavali.

Reacting to the allegation by coalition government that Arvind Limbavali and BSY’s son Vijayendra are staying in Mumbai for Operation Kamala, he said that he had gone to Telangana to take over responsibility of the party when the allegation of Operation Kamala was made. “There is no need to give clarifications to the allegations,” he said.

Arvind Limbavali refused to divulge more details on the video that BJP intends to release. He said that BSY himself will provide further details.

Sources say that the video shows HDK demanding Rs 25 crores from Vijugowda Patil in 2014 to make him an MLC. The video was also released in Mandya during last elections. It is suspected that the same video will be released by BJP again.

Today Yeddyurappa on Karnataka Cheif Minister Kumaraswamy audio tape said it is a ‘concocted story’ claim ‘I’ll quit politics if audio clip is proven fake’.
Now BJP is claiming to have the HDK audio tape of horse trading.
Kumaraswamy also said that those who "played games" with the presiding deity of Dharmastala, Lord Manjunatha, would incur his wrath.
"Invoking the name of Lord Manjunatha Swamy, he could not get protection... he (Yeddyurappa) had to resign within one month (as chief minister)," the Chief Minister said.
Let BJP state party president Yedurappa and Chief Minister Kumaraswamy take truth test before Lord Manjunatha like last time they did in 2011.
According to the tradition followed at the temple, aggrieved parties stand before the deity and take a pledge on the issues they have been contesting, after payment of Rs 11 as a fee.

If MLC gives 25 crores how much MLC makes in his 5 years term. How you can expect developments? Our voters are fools? There should not be ghatbandan after the election. Governor should dissolve this minority government and state should go for re election. Now better to have President rule.

The manner in which the BJP has been engaging in horse trading in almost every state after the last general elections has been shamefull if not disgusting. The duo of Modi and Amit Shah have given full encouragement to local BJP units in states to go ahead with this donkey trading. Horse trading is too respectfull.

The Prime Minister who should have been the guardian of the conscience of the nation has no qualms in allowing our politics to be ruined to this low extent.

    God save our beloved nation.
