Kundapur: BJP workers begin 'Shobha Go Back' campaign on Twitter

Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur (MS)

Kundapur, Feb 22: On the background of the rumours of the probability of Shobha Karandlaje, sitting MP of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, getting a ticket to contest again this time, the BJP activists have started a twitter campaign saying 'Go Back Shobha' from Thursday, February 21.

More than 1500 people have tweeted within two hours of the beginning of this campaign. The BJP activists started the Twitter trend campaign accusing that "Last time around, we voted because of Modi wave. This time we want local BJP candidates to become Member of Parliament. Shobha Karandlaje has not visited the constituency. She has not asked the grievances of the voters. The national highway work is not completed. We do not have any issue with local candidate. We will support him or her. If Shobha is given ticket, we will not support her. Only locals become the voice for our issues. We have spent five years as if we do not have an MP for our constituency."

It needs to be seen as to what decision the BJP will take as the BJP party workers themselves are opposing the candidature of sitting BJP MP. It also needs to be seen how the party will pacify the warring workers and win their confidence.

On Thursday, February 21, attention was sought on Twitter by the BJP activists when there was news that BJP national president Amit Shah would visit Bengaluru for the meeting related to the selection of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.

Dear people please realise that you are going to select an employee for yourself for 5 years and this contract cannot be broken in between and you know this. So select an employee wisely. Do not be selfish and settle for a Saree or bottle of liquor. Look around your village and what facilities you are lacking . May be your village is suffering due lack bridges roads hospital facilities etc. If you don't care for yourself who will care for you.

If you pick up candidates because of their connections with the state leaders this is exactly what is going to happen. Lot of talking and no work. As far as development is concerned Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency has suffered a lot. Many people do not know who their MP is. Good thing people realised their mistake and asking the incumbent to go back. However, BJP will not come to power at the centre this time.

Udupi MP Shobha is 'Nurse' by professional. The 'Bhakta' should have at least courtesy that she can't go back to her practice when she is sitting on more than Rs100 crores wealth generated from politics. Even if she considers the BJP's Twitter trend 'Shobha Go Back' patience life will be in threat. Then there are MP's in BJP who are good at beating 'Doctors' on duty.

Finally, At last, Kunadpara unit BJP realized 'Good Governance' is not just big hoax and its own party MP of Udupi is 'Jumala'.

This MP is only good at uploading 'fake videos' copying from 'Postcard.com' and maintaining a list of Sangh Parivar comrades. She served as Minister of power in former CM Yeddyurappa government and unable to add a single unit to the grid during her ministry. Reality is she carries 'Made in USA' gun for her own safety.

In my point of view, Udupi needs a candidate like Tonse Ananth Pai founder member of Manipal group or corporation bank founder late Haji Saheb both are visionaries and pro-development oriented.
Unfortunately, mutt interference plays significant role electing the candidates. Despite highest literate district of Karnataka they are electing peoples representatives having criminal records prove that this region is inclined by religious politics rather than nation first developmental politics.

Ayyo, what happened to the Bhakts - the blind followers of the Fekus and Dhakus. They accept anything that comes from the mouth of the fekus as God's truth. They always seemed to follow their fekus blindly and innocently. And how can they now say something against the wish of their Super hero - Yeddy. I am shocked and baffled! I can't believe myself.

The people of Kundapur need to be applauded for their action. I hope people from other constituencies also take a leaf out of their book and send back all those MPs or MLAs who haven't done any work. This has to be done everywhere so that the elected representatives are on their feet all the time. Shobha fully deserves this kind of backlash. Don't allow her to enter the town if she dares to do that. We certainly do not want this kind of useless people. If the country has to progress, stern action needs to be taken by the people.
