Congratulations mloreans. Keep fighting amongst yourself in the name.of religion and politics. Thieves have already entered all green region of mlore and constructed chemical and coal plants which wre chased away by people of other states because of their unity. The reason british ruled India was coz of lack of unity among Indians. Same thing happening here. When was the last time we wore socks at home coz it was very cold inside house ? Its too late now. Enjoy the temp. This year itll cross 40. No one still gets it how politicans have brain washed the most smartest and literate region of India know as mangaluru.

Nowadays many things are happening that were unseen before. One is that the mango trees in the city have bloomed three times, subject to varying temperature. Generally they bloom once, as soon as the winter ends. This year though, they first bloomed in November. But, in Jan some branches (of the same tree) those did not bloom in November, bloomed all of a sudden. To add to the amazement, same tree bloomed the third time in Feb. Flowers can be still seen on the trees in the city.

As a result, one tree has mature mangoes (begun to ripe), tender mangoes and tiny ones on the flower. If all of them stay intact (did not fall off due to cloudy atmosphere) its going to be a bumper mango season in the city.

Those who are abroad and intend to come on summer vacation to enjoy the mangoes in your courtyard, please do your reservation soon.

Yes jenny I too have observed. But I feel many of the mangoes will be either rotten or will have worms once the rain begins..Before monsoon people visit their homeland they can enjoy natural fruits but heat will be intolerable..

    Cynthi,

Also Kirem is nearby, right ???...

In India too much taxes for Alcohol and Petrol...In US taxes are almost same for these like other products...thus Alcohol and Petrol ( called Gas here) becomes much cheaper than in India...In US a can of Beer and Soda almost cost same...

Cynthi, we can start a Political party in India , with manifesto of reducing taxes and eliminating corruption...BJPeee was saying same thing when in opposition ,,, but when they started ruling... they are following Congress...SAD...

Langoolji...normally whole of area is known as damarskatte after moorukaveri till elinje. But church is known as Kirem parish from the beginning. It's recognised as kirem church in our diocese. Konkani speaking people call it kirem but not damarskatte. If you travel by bus conductors shout as "ಚರ್ಚ್ ದಲ್ಪ ಜಪ್ಪುಲೆ"..they won't say kirem..

No no let's not involve in political business. Unnecessary curses Why to pull on ourselves? Instead of that let me tell you one proper idea. Since beer and soda cost the same and costly, why can't we start beer and soda pipeline from bithul bar to Washington DC? It will be much cheaper and more affordable ...KM

Langoolji, in damarskatte, church is called kirem church. It's known as Kirem church in whole of Mangalore diocese. After moorukaveri till elinje it's damarskatte. If travel by bus to kirem, conductors say "ಚರ್ಚ್ ದಲ್ಪ ಜಪ್ಪುಲೆ". They will not say kirem. ..political business is not recommended for us. Your ideology is good.. Those who are into politics are not faithful. Their greed for money and power is utmost and in their blood. Instead of this, let's think something like uncle Ninganna is exploring with. He is helping the nature. Let's plant more trees Nature will bless us abundantly 🙏 not this political business
