Mangaluru, Feb 24: The most eligible bachelor of Dakshina Kannada's political circle, Youth Congress leader, Mithun Rai, tied knot with Sharanya Shetty at Kateel temple on Sunday, February 24.
Mithun is the son of well-known surgeon Dr Mahabala Rai and entered politics at a very young age during his student days. Sharanya happens to be a postgraduate, having secured MCom degree.
Wedding is followed by reception Sahyadri College ground in the evening.
Congress leaders D K Shivakumar, Dinesh Gundu Rao and other leaders attended the wedding function.
Mithun Rai has been following the practice of doling out cows to poor people on the occasion of Diwali festival, is an astute theist. He also happens to be a loyal Congressman. He can be counted among those youth Congress leaders who have the most fan following.
